Embark on a self-guided half-day adventure exploring the seasonal migration of warblers through Long Caye. Walk through coastal trails and kayak along the mangrove fringes as you observe these colorful songbirds on their epic journey.
Each year, thousands of warblers and other migratory songbirds make an incredible journey across continents, stopping at Lighthouse Reef to rest and refuel. This self-guided adventure allows you to witness these remarkable travelers up close. You’ll navigate the island’s nature trails and kayak through mangrove channels, where these birds find shelter and sustenance. By documenting your sightings and behaviors, you’ll contribute to ongoing citizen science efforts monitoring migratory patterns and habitat use.
