Embark on a thrilling adventure to learn about the American crocodile in its natural habitat. This immersive experience takes you on a nocturnal boat ride, a morning swamp hike, and a daytime kayak expedition, offering a unique perspective on these ancient reptiles.



Join us for an unforgettable journey into the world of the American crocodile at Lighthouse Reef. This hands-on experience will give you the opportunity to observe these prehistoric predators up close while contributing to important conservation efforts. Guided by expert biologists, you will explore Long Caye’s coastal and swamp environments by boat, on foot, and by kayak. Learn about crocodile behavior, habitat, and the challenges they face from human impact. By participating in data collection and monitoring, you will be directly contributing to their conservation.

- Journey Route: Beach walk, boat ride around Long Caye at night, morning swamp hike, daytime kayak expedition, potential visit to a nesting site in the center of the island.
